Newspaper clipping about what was in June 1975 the worst single-plane disaster in U.S. history.  Coincidentally, Ted Owens, at that very time was on an airplane behind the one that crashed, heading into Kennedy Airport.  The clipping on the right is part of a Saga magazine article by Otto Binder about Ted Owens.  It includes an illustration of airplane crashes caused by lightning in the Chesapeake Bay area -- that followed an earlier demonstration.  Owens, was in first class, enjoying the free liquor, and showing the Saga magazine to the stewardesses.
